To help alleviate feelings of isolation, and encourage Carers to remain part of society and not be excluded
To support individual Carers through the prompt identification of appropriate help and advisory services to meet their needs
To promote and improve the health and well being of Carers
The development, promotion and organisation of groups offering support to Carers and an understanding of the Carer's situation
To provide opportunities for Carers to share grievances, anxieties and information with other Carers and former Carers
To procure and disseminate information relevant to Carers
To maintain and extend links with other caring bodies e.g. statutory and voluntary organisations
